Experience and leadership
With more than 20 years of progressive accomplishment encompassing leadership in all facets of product development, strategic marketing, planning and engineering within the high-technology telecommunication industry, Andy Saffarian has proved himself to be a versatile and growth-oriented leader. His expertise leading diverse teams including Architecture, Marketing, Sales, Engineering, Finance and Operations has repeatedly brought outstanding success within both start-up and established business environments. He also earned multiple US patents during his tenure at Intel Corporation.

Utilizing his technical expertise, Andy, as a cancer survivor and patient, is committed to improving the experience of other patients as they strive for peace of mind during their treatment challenges. Most important, his desire is that patients can lead normal and active lives, even while undergoing treatment.

"My passion is to use my experience helping other patients—to improve the quality of life for them and their families—by developing an Interactive Wireless Health Monitoring system that truly improves the efficiency, reliability and caliber of healthcare.

After being diagnosed with cancer, I went through multiple therapies, surgeries and clinical drug trials. I learned first-hand that much of a patient’s discomfort comes from the seemingly impersonal world of medical care, rather than the disease itself, including therapy side effects, lack of timely communication, professionals’ misjudgments, improper treatments, medical errors, and endless paperwork.

I also learned how technology solutions have the potential of revolutionizing medical care and how much value they can bring when:

  • Patients are empowered to take a more active role in their own care.
  • Physicians and nurses are freed from many of their administrative tasks, allowing them to spend more time with patients, working on their behalf.
  • Drug companies and researchers can reduce the cost and shorten the time for clinical trials, while improving R&D.
  • Patient’s data can be sent and received immediately, saving hours or days in the process of diagnosis and care while preventing unnecessary complications.
  • Healthcare providers can improve the quality of services to patients at lower rates.
  • That’s why ArioTech is dedicated to solutions that truly make a difference in the outcome of people’s health."
